Museum of 20th­­­­ and 21st Century Art of St Petersburg and its education team invite visitors to a new lecture course dedicated to the history of world art from ancient times to the present day!

At the lecture we shall discuss the characteristics of medieval Romanesque style, the development of monastic culture and the phenomenon of pilgrimage. We shall learn about Burgundian and Norman architecture, the unique sculptural reliefs of the Last Judgement, as well as how the prerequisites for Gothic architecture developed.
